Welcome to Alliance Physiotherapy. By engaging our home-based professional services, you (the “Patient” or “Client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms ensure a professional, safe, and effective therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the patient.

1. Professional Services and Scope

Alliance Physiotherapy provides specialized, home-based rehabilitative care. Our services include, but are not limited to, physical assessments, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neurological or musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

  • Session Duration: Each appointment is strictly a 2-hour (120-minute) dedicated block. This time includes assessment, active treatment, and clinical documentation.

  • Operating Hours: Our standard operational window is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

2. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellations

To maintain a high standard of care for all clients, the following scheduling rules apply:

  • Advance Booking: Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellation Policy: Because a 2-hour block is a significant portion of the therapist’s day, cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Punctuality: As our services are home-based, please ensure the patient is ready at the scheduled time. If the therapist is delayed due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, the full 2-hour duration will still be honored from the time of arrival.

3. Patient Obligations and Safety

For the safety of both the patient and the therapist, the following conditions must be met:

  • Treatment Area: The patient must provide a clean, well-lit, and safe environment within their home for the session.

  • Accurate Health Disclosure: The patient is responsible for providing a complete and accurate medical history. Alliance Physiotherapy is not liable for injuries resulting from the non-disclosure of medical conditions or medications.

  • Supervision: For patients under the age of 18 or those with cognitive impairments, a legal guardian or family member must be present in the home for the duration of the session.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Physiotherapy involves physical exertion. While our therapists take every precaution, there is an inherent risk of minor soreness or fatigue following treatment.

  • Alliance Physiotherapy does not guarantee specific recovery timelines, as results vary based on individual pathology and adherence to home exercise programs.

  • The therapist reserves the right to suspend treatment if they believe the patient’s condition requires urgent medical intervention or a physician’s clearance.

5. Professional Conduct and Environment

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment or inappropriate behavior.

  • The relationship between the therapist and the patient is strictly professional/clinical.

  • Any form of verbal or physical abuse, or inappropriate behavior toward the therapist, will result in the immediate termination of the session and all future services without a refund.

6. Payment and Billing

  • Payment terms are to be settled as agreed upon during the initial consultation.

  • Receipts for insurance claims or personal records can be provided upon request via email.

7. Limitation of Liability

Alliance Physiotherapy and its staff shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our home-based services, provided the services were rendered according to standard professional physiotherapy protocols.

8. Amendments

Alliance Physiotherapy reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Patients will be notified of significant changes via the contact information provided.
